More Monkeying Around

Beck is one fearless little boy. His goal in life is to climb as high as he can on anything he can.

Good thing that lamp hasn't crashed to the floor yet. All in good time, though.



Yesterday, he achieved his goal of climbing into the Learning Tower. The proceeded to climb on to the counter. Yes, the COUNTER. As you might guess, we have removed the Learning Tower from the kitchen. Poor Kyle was pretty upset by it because he uses it all the time. But, it's just not safe for Monkey Boy right now.

He's also learned how to shake the play kitchen to almost topple over on him. This is great fun because 1) it makes a ton of noise and 2) it makes mommy and daddy try to get him to stop. Notice how he looks at me with a giant smile and pops his wrist? Yeah, he 'disciplining' himself. Matt gave him a little tap on the wrist to try to get him to stop. You can see how effective it was.

To say that this child wears me out is an understatement.
