Yesterday, we took the boys on the TRE to downtown Ft. Worth for a few hours. The highlight of the trip is the 10 minute train ride. Taking the TRE is an inexpensive way to get out of the house for a few hours and the boys think riding the train is the berries.
Unfortunately, we listened to the weathermen and believed them when they said it was going to be in the upper 60's and sunny. It was in the mid 50's, gray, and windy.
But we made the best of it and had lunch at our favorite Tex-Mex restaurant, Mi Cocina, then headed to Barnes & Noble for look at books, ride the escalators, and warm up with hot chocolate!
