He's cruising around like crazy and has even started taking some small steps! He'll take about four at a time then fall down. Oh boy, once he starts walking I'll definitely need to get some new running shoes! He's already a lot to keep up with!
He's eating lots of big boy food now like grilled cheese sandwiches, pasta, cooked potato pieces, and chicken. So far, he still likes most foods, especially Nini's homegrown green beans! The boy can put a jar of green beans away in about two days!
Kyle doesn't talk much anymore (not that he had a whole lot to say). He used to say Mama and Dada, but now he just does the universal baby speak of pointing and grunting. It's very effective at keeping us guessing about what he wants.
He's probably the smartest kid in the world, too. Yeah, yeah, every parent says that but Kyle's the exception! :) He knows how to turn out the light and what it means when we say "Turn out the light!" He knows what it means when I say, "Where's your nubby?" or "Where's Cookie Monster?" He'll stop what he's doing and go search for those items.
And he definitely knows that he's not supposed to play with a) the tv stand or any of the equipment b) any remote controls c) wall outlets. But does that stop him? Not really! They're so tempting to curious little boys. But as he's flying by one of those items, he'll slow down, reach his hand out like he's about to touch, then speed on past. Most of the time anyway. Sometimes, the temptation is just too much and he just has to grab at the dvd player!
He's so much fun...every stage this past year has been our favorite! :) Here's a few pics of our big boy!
Being happy in my new cowboy jammies.

I know I have my own Sesame Street remote, but yours is so much more inviting. How could you tell this face no?

Just being cute.

Fun times in the bath!

Fun time is over. I don't wanna get my hair rinsed out!!
