A few weekends ago the rest of our family came to town to continue celebrating Kyle's third birthday. I tell you what, we celebrate birthdays for weeks around here! Kyle and Beck hadn't seen Aunt Kelly or Sydney since Beck was born, so we were all long over due for a visit with them!
One thing we did that weekend was go to ICE! at the Gaylord in Grapevine. Matt and I have been wanting to go for several years, but this is the first year we thought Kyle would really enjoy it. If you don't know about ICE! then you can read about it
here. It's amazing how they make everything out of ice! As you can imagine, it's FREEZING (9 degrees) in there so you have to dress warm and they give you long parkas to wear too. It was pretty fun and I'm glad we finally went!
The Gaylord also does a beautiful job decorating for Christmas. Just going to see their gigantic lobby/courtyard/plaza area is a fun event in itself.
